Graduates Results
After attending a Trading Wisely course and signing up with your broker (Kinetic Securities) I have begun to do some actual trading. I am more than happy with my results having made an average of 56% profit on two trades. Prior to taking your course I would not have believed this was possible. It just goes to show that it is never too late to learn something new, espescially when it is so professionally taught. Thank you for the knowledge that you supplied.

I’ve had great success with a couple of trades this week – ZFX last Friday, made 40% by Monday, and RIO on Tuesday, about 30% overnight. Here are some of my ideas on your observations. Using “Trading Wisely” / “Patterns for Profit” techniques over the last 3 months should have ensured some excellent results and I can assure you that I had brilliant results trading so far this year. All but one of my trades was a “Put”. The only call was last week when BHP busted the $40 resistance resulting in an excellent trade, 70% realised early on the next trading day.
All of my other trades have been Puts as per your teaching about the dominant market trend. So if someone was uncomfortable with Puts and a declining market, I can understand how some individuals may feel a bit uncomfortable with the market. I am aware that there are those with “Put Phobia”. I would ask the question of those that felt the market was “hard to read”… “Are you comfortable with a descending market?” - maybe it’s all in the head?
If technical analysis is used correctly then it should make no difference if the market is up or down – your rules are there – if there is a break-out up or down supported with volume, then it makes sense to investigate a trading opportunity.
I feel very confident in my trading because I am making all the right decisions when NOT to trade and when to get out and stay out. Yesterday was a great example – after a 2% drop on the DOW I was looking forward to trade somewhere in the financial sector of the ASX. It wasn’t there; there was maybe one stock on my watch list that broke support, but the volume was poor so I stayed out. Was it the right decision? Yes! – that stock is trading higher 2.99% as I write this.
I am truly thankful to you Jules for teaching me such a fantastic skill set and I really, really enjoy trading. It is now my profession and one should enjoy ones work shouldn’t one!
